FTP....

FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol - This is a program that sends data from a local computer to the network server. During this lesson we have used various programs that will allow us to place pages on out Athene accounts.

Fetch was the first program used, this was simple it was just a matter of dragging and dropping our word HTML file into this program and opening up out Athene web page.

We then went on to a more exciting program iweb, this is a simple program that is very easy to use (with exceptions to saving the files)... I am looking forward to completing my web page.

MPI 104.... What a course!

For years i thought i was pretty switched on when it came to surfing the net... i was so young and naive there was so much for me to learn at basic level, luckily i choose MPI 104 as an elective as i have learnt a lot.
I have learnt the extent of google and all of its applications, I have created my own blogger site, we got shown some awesome cool websites like flickr and delicious which i think are great! But you can not go past building a website from very scratch this has to be the most exciting part f the class!!!
